Hello and welcome to my web page. I’ve been doing triathlon for about 8 years and completed my first triathlon in 2009. I came into triathlon from a running background and so this is my favorite and strongest discipline. When I started I would say I was a complete beginner at swimming and not very confident on a bike. So  I’ve started this website to tell my story of how someone at the age of forty can start something new and with a bit of dedication and perseverance can progress and get to a level where I am now competing for Age Group team GB and hopefully inspire other to  have a go and enjoy the sport as much as I do.

I feel so proud competing  for Team GB and wearing the kit and have been lucky to have competed seven time and managed three podium places. Two silvers at Long distance and one silver at middle distance. I’ve now qualified for the European long distance championships in Madrid Spain .Anyone that has competed at these events know how expensive it can be but now I’m in the lucky position to have a sponsor who is kindly helping me to cover some of these costs. I cannot thank Justine of Traybakes Ltd Penrith enough for her kind generosity. If anyone would also like to help please visit my crowdfunding page
